岩石断裂的萌生和扩展是引起岩石结构破坏的主要原因,因此,岩石断裂过程的详细观测为岩石力学和岩石工程提供了帮助。然而,岩石断裂力学存在两个基本的困难:一是难以对岩石断裂进行全面、准确、细致的观察;二是难以进行复杂条件下岩石断裂过程的实验模拟。本书应用数字图像相关(DIC)的光学技术来研究岩石破裂过程和相关的应用。为了模拟原位岩石工程的复杂情况,本书给出了三个重点:模式I、混合模式和模式II载荷下的断裂过程。本书分为5个章。第1章介绍声发射技术及其相关技术;第2章阐述不同加载方式下的岩石断裂过程;第3章主要研究岩石在压缩作用下的断裂过程;第4章介绍热效应对岩石破裂过程的工程应用;第5章介绍一种特殊的工程应用:哈克岩石隧道的剥落过程。
